Frank Zecca, Senior Vice President of Octagon’s Client Financial Services business, has helped formulate the company’s Financial Planning and Investment Advisory practice, which caters to many of the world’s leading athletes and personalities.
Various media outlets, including Wall Street Journal, Fortune, NPR and ESPN, frequently call upon Zecca as an expert in financial planning and portfolio management in the sports management business. He is also a highly sought-after speaker and has participated in discussions at various conferences and universities, including Baltimore School of Law, MasterCard Edge Program and Sports Lawyers Conference.
A 16-year veteran of Octagon’s financial services department, Zecca crafted his financial planning and investment management expertise on Wall Street before narrowing his focus to the sports and entertainment industry. He started in the Accounting, Tax and Consulting division of KPMG Peat Marwick before moving to private banking at American Express Bank. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a Registered Financial Advisor, NFLPA.
