In 1989, Lexus sought an image program that would stimulate increased traffic and sales and enhance loyalty between companies and local dealers.
- Lexus and Octagon created a grassroots golf program: The Lexus Champions for Charity that:
- Provides Lexus/dealers with a unique presence via existing amateur events
- Culminates with a 3-day, 54-hole National Championship competition held at Pebble Beach
- We handle program creation, planning and management including partner sales, charity negotiations, communications and dealers' programs
- The event is the longest-running amateur golf event in the country, raises millions of dollars for charity and continues to exceed Lexus’ business objectives
