Lysol

For Lysol, Octagon created a mega-brand promotion targeted to families that drove volume, merchandising and incremental sales for the smaller, lesser known, Lysol sku’s. The “Good Clean Summer Fun” program focused on 86 local FSI's, offering consumers free admission to local attractions (museums, amusement parks, zoos, etc.).

Octagon Secured:

  • 214 program partners, a minimum of two partners in each of the 86 market areas
  • Negotiated FREE admission for 3 Lysol purchases in 197 of the 214 partners
  • Created a trade program in all Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets (26 retailers)
  • Developed a customized website with zip code locator to participating attractions
  • Created and executed a communications plan in all 214 venues (newsletter, in-venue signage, employee t-shirts/buttons. Coupon distribution, etc.)
  • Created a program targeted to Hispanic Americans

The Good Clean Summer Fun program was responsible for driving the highest 3rd quarter market share in Lysol's 75-year history
